Baby Visor Pattern
Sizes:
0-6 mos (14 – 16”): 55 sts
6-12 mos (16 – 18”): 60 sts
12-18 mos (18 – 20”): 65 sts
Skill Level: Easy
Materials: Red Heart With Love in Red, White and Blue (or any color)
Hook size H/5.00mm
Yarn needle
Key:
CH = chain
SC = single crochet
HDC = half double crochet
DC = double crochet
SL ST = slip stitch
RND = round
CC = change color
Instructions:
Chain 55 (60,65), sl st to 1st chain to form a loop, being careful not to twist.
Rnd 1: Ch 2, hdc in same space, hdc 54 (59, 64) around, sl st to 1st hdc to join. (55,60,65 sts)
Rnd 2: (Optional CC) Ch 2, hdc in same space, hdc 54 (59, 64) around, sl st to 1st hdc to join. (55,60,65 sts)
Rnd 3: Ch 2, hdc in same space, hdc 54 (59, 64) around, sl st to 1st hdc to join. (55,60,65 sts)
Rnd 4: Ch 2, hdc in same space, hdc 54 (59, 64) around, sl st to 1st hdc to join. (55,60,65 sts)

Visor Brim
Row 1: Ch1, sc 2, hdc 2, *dc, 2dc in next, repeat from * 7 times, dc, hdc 2, sc 2, sl st to Rnd 5. (33 sts)
Row 2: Ch 1, sc 2, hdc 2, *dc 2, 2dc in next, repeat from * 7 times, dc, hdc 2, sc 2, sl st to Rnd 5. (41 sts)
Row 3: Ch 1, sc 2, hdc 2, *dc 3, 2dc in next, repeat from * 7 times, dc, hdc 2, sc 2, sl st to Rnd 5. (49 sts)
Break yarn, weave ends.
Optional Accent
At back of hat, join accent color between Rnd 2 & 3, sl st around hat band to form a stripe. (55,65,75 sts). Repeat between Rnd 3 & 4 to form a second stripe. (55,65,75 sts)

Summer Visor Pattern
Toddler (18 – 20”): 65 sts (Follow same pattern for child size using 65 sts instead of 70.)
Child (18 – 20”): 70 sts
Teen (18 – 20”): 75 sts
Adult (18 – 20”): 80 sts
